We develop Flash animations to enhance HTML websites. We typically do not
develop websites entirely from Flash for a couple of reasons. First, usability
studies have shown that flash websites (or websites that have lots of moving
parts) can confuse visitors causing them to leave and go elsewhere. Second,
Flash content is not indexed by search engines the same way that
HTML-based sites are. If you want your site to naturally rank well with search
engines, you don't want it entirely in Flash.
The most important part of your site is its content. Visitors come to most
websites to either buy a product or get information. For these types of sites
the best design will allow visitors to do this as effortlessly and effeciently
as possible.
Our philosophy for site design is to make your site (1) easy to read, (2)
easy to navigate and (3) visually attractive and interesting. We do this with
HTML and the sparing use of Flash.
